Recipe News: Bake a pie for Thanksgiving dinner

"While pumpkin pie has long been a traditional part of Thanksgiving dinner, I thought it might be fun to shake things up with something different.
In my recent column, From the Kitchen, I asked readers to submit recipes for something different for Thanksgiving dinner. They not only shared recipes, but one shared a special memory connected with her recipe and another suggested a perfect topping for her pie. One is a combination of two recipes and still another includes molasses that adds to its sweetness.
Rather than take up any more space talking about the recipes I received, I'll simply say thank you to everyone who shared and let you get on with reading these yummy-sounding choices."
